Introduction
We will be hosting the 5th annual Citi Asia Pacific Property Conference on 10 and 11 May 2012.
As ever, high-level policy-makers, respected industry leaders and decision-makers at major property companies will share their views on the prospects for the region's property sectors in the second half of 2012 and beyond.
Against a background of uncertainty and volatility in global financial markets, especially in the Eurozone, property markets in the region are showing signs of slippage. Or worse, if you believe the more alarmist predictions. Certainly, risks are rising relating to credit availability, lending standards and refinancing.
Key questions that will be addressed by our speakers and presenters include:
- Are we seeing a repeat of 2008?
- Which governments will be tightening, and which will be looking to loosen?
- What are the trends / outlooks / opportunities in the region's major property markets, especially China, Hong Kong and Singapore?
- Which sectors and companies are likely to outperform?
